My goal in writing patterns is to bring on-trend and current design elements into our knitting realm. If I would wear it, I will write it. And if you ask me, ruffles are here to stay! Quince's Sparrow, a little ease and playful ruffles make this pullover freaking awesome.
This pullover is knit flat as separate front and back pieces, which are seamed at the shoulder using three needle BO. One continuous seam is created using mattress stitch: sleeves are seamed WS facing and the seam continues down as the sides are joined, RS facing. The bottom ruffle is picked up along CO edge and knit in the round.

- 24” and 32” circular needle in size US 4 (3.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- 32” or 40” circular needle in size US 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- One spare size US 4 (3.5 mm)
This top was designed for a petite to average height person. It may appear slightly cropped in the photos of me wearing it and that is due to my height (5'9").
