Designer demi-couture dress by the inimitable Mr. Blackwell! Done in a lemon meringue yellow chiffon. Bodice is completely encrusted with yellow sequins and white sequins and rhinestones in a white branch pattern. Low u shaped back. Back zipper.
Mr. Blackwell launched his label in the late 1950's and he dressed a lot of the the Hollywood stars such as Dorothy Lamour, Jayne Mansfield and others. His Custom line was made to order and fitted to a specific client in the couture tradition.
